ANTHONY "TONY" D. JUAREZ, SR., 54, Deming resident passed away Saturday June 13, 2015 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will begin Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel where the prayer vigil will be recited at 7 o'clock. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday morning, June 18, 2015 at 9 o'clock at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Fr. Manuel Ibarra officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery with Veteran Honors Accorded.

He was born June 28, 1960 in Deming to Consuelo Dominguez and Gilbert Juarez. Tony attended Deming Public Schools and St. Ann's Catholic Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and returned to make Deming his home. He was also in the National Guard where he was a member of the New Mexico National Guard Sharp Shooting Team. Tony enjoyed camping, hunting, and riding his Harley. The love of his life were his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa of the home; daughter, Jennifer P. Juarez of Deming; son, Anthony P. Juarez Jr. And his wife, Monica C. of Deming; father, Gilbert Juarez of Deming; brother, Gilbert Juarez Jr. And wife, Debbie of Deming; 3 sisters, Isabel Juarez of Las Cruces, Irene Altamirano of Dallas, Texas, Dini Ybarra and husband, Albert of Deming and 4 grandchildren, Mia Gonzalez, Haley P. Torres, Isaiah Juarez, and Anissa Juarez.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Consuelo Juarez.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Mendoza, Joel Adam Pastran, Sketter Miller, Xavier Altamirano, Gume Ochoa Jr. And Sammy Terrazas. Honorary bearers will be Jonathan Juarez, Richard Barrio, and Lalo Urbina.
