George Anthony Marquez, 45, a resident of Fierro, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 22, 1969 in Silver City, NM to George D. and Margaret Castillo Marquez. He is survived by his parents George and Margaret Marquez of Fierro; one sister, Dee Marquez of Silver City; two nieces, Dyann Marquez and Melody Lopez; one nephew, Kenny Lopez; uncles and aunts, Joe Castillo (Esther); Ray Castillo; Vicente "Chente" Castillo (Maria); Daniel Castillo; Pasqual "Guerro" Castillo; James Marquez; Leonso Marquez (Dominica) and Virginia Valdespino.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Luis and Socorro Castillo; paternal grandparents, Leonso and Jenny Marquez; uncles, Ramon and Luis Castillo; Manuel and Abel Marquez.

Rosary will be Friday, June 19 at 10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Father Paulus Kao reciting. The funeral liturgy will follow at 11am at St. Anthony's Church in Fierro, NM with Father Paulus Kao officiating. Interment will follow at Fierro Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alfred Rascon, Mike Gutierrez, Vicente "Chente" Castillo Jr., Matthew Valenzuela Sr., Matthew Valenzuela Jr. And Jeramy Becerra. Honorary pallbearers will be Mondo Gonzalez, Joseph Gutierrez, Mark Aguirre, Amy Becerra, Melissa Arciero, Bruce Arciero, Mike and Fred Chavez, Michael Marquez and Rudy Jaurequi and the rest of his family and friends.
