Florence was born March 27, 1925, in Santa Rita, New Mexico, to G. B. and Ethel Corley and was raised in Belen and Clovis, New Mexico. She graduated from Clovis High School at the beginning of World War II and then attended nursing school in New Orleans, Louisiana. While she was in nursing school, the love of her life, Boyd Harper, was at sea in the US Navy. After the war, she left nursing school to marry Boyd on January 16, 1946, at her parents' home in Clovis, New Mexico. After 65 years of an amazing life together, Boyd went home to Jesus. Florence then chose to reside at Willow Manor and continued to love everyone around her and served the Lord until her last breath. One of Florence's favorite quotes from Ken Keyes, Jr. Was "A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world. Everyone you meet is your mirror." Florence's mirror... only reflected love.
