Bonnie was born in Deming, NM and raised in Idaho and New Mexico. She lived on the family farm in Costilla, NM until she was in the 8th grade. The family moved to Gila, NM where she graduated from Cliff High School in 1977.

Bonnie worked at a book store in Silver City for awhile then at the Methodist Child Care Center. She later worked for the Town of Silver City at the Public Library as a part time clerk and worked her way up to Director. She retired in October 2009 after 25 years of service.

She was an avid reader and loved books. She spent her retirement years reading, sewing and adding to her doll collection. She loved Jesus and tried to be more Christ-Like every day.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, John Edward Taylor and grandparents, Ellis and Cleo Taylor, and Charles and Lola Gardner.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Gardner Taylor of Silver City, her sister Katherine Taylor of Silver City, Brother Glen Taylor of Cliff, NM and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers are her cousins Russell Gardner, Kevin Gardner, Stan Gardner, Leonard Rice, Daryl Tow and Larry Dominguez. Honorary bearers are the rest of her cousins and good friends David McDowell and Robby Birch.
