Robert P. Anderson 84 of Arenas Valley, NM passed to a better place on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at his residence. A Graveside Service will be held at Fort Bayard National Cemetery on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 1:00pm with Chaplain Andy Housley officiating and Full Military Honors.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his spouse Rosemary, two sons Buck (Beulah) Anderson of Colorado and New Mexico, Joel (Michele) Anderson of Alabama, one daughter Rebecca (Dave) Ghostley of Alabama; he was blessed with numerous grandchildren whom were dearly loved. Three sisters Norma Jean Rogers (L.H.) of Silver City, Hazel Zimmerman (Jerry) of Denver, Colorado, Nina Nabors of Texas and a sister-in-law Patricia Leyse of Ramona, California.

He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Hazel Anderson, one brother Jim Anderson. He also had numerous relatives across the country. He was a Marine during the Korean War and a US Postal Carrier until his retirement. He loved his God, his country, his family and was a good husband, father and a true friend to all who knew him. His interests were fishing, hunting and gardening.
