Leonor "Noni" Martinez Baca, 87, Lordsburg resident passed away Monday July 13, 2015 at Mountain View Regional Hospital in Las Cruces.

The prayer vigil was Friday July 17, 2015 at 6 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Mass of the Christian Burial was Saturday July 18, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock. Fr. John Weber officiated. Concluding services and interment followed at Shakespeare Cemetery.

Noni was born in Lordsburg, NM to Eduardo Martinez and Bonifacia Soto on January 1, 1928. She enjoyed playing bingo, Super Mario Brothers. Noni was a supportive wife, and a loving and attentive mother. Noni was a devoted Catholic and a supporting member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Noni was preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo Martinez and Bonifacia Soto; her son, Jay G. and 4 brothers, Rafael Martinez, Pedro (Pete) Verdugo, Eduardo (Lalo) Martinez and Enrique (Henry) Verdugo. She is survived by her husband, Cipriano (Cipi) Baca of Lordsburg; son, Gabriel (Gaby) Baca, daughter-in-law, Dawn Baca and grandson, Dakota Roxas of Dover, Delaware; sister, Josephine (Fina) Aguilar of Las Vegas, NV; brother, David Contreras of Lordsburg and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving friends and family.

Pallbearers were, David and Herman Montoya, Michael Verdugo, Samuel Ramirez, Jr., David Contreras, Jr. And Brandon Jacquez.
