Abraham Cereceres, 49, a Deming resident passed away early Sunday morning, August 2, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas following a vehicle accident.

The wake service was last evening in the Colonia Guadalupe Victoria, Chihuahua, Mexico and the Funeral Mass and interment are scheduled for today, Thursday, August 6, 2015.

Abraham was born July 22, 1966 in Ascencion, Chihuahua, Mexico to Cleofas Madrid and Socorro Cereceres. He moved to Deming from Mexico in 2007. He was a communicant of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alma of the home; son, Luis Martin Cereceres of Deming; parents, Socorro and Cleofas Cereceres of Las Cruces; 2 brothers, Manuel Arturo and Jose Cereceres of Deming; 4 sisters, Blanca Estella Cereceres of Phoenix, AZ, Marisela Cortinas and Beatrice Cereceres of Deming and Cayetana Cereceres of Las Cruces.

He was preceded in death by children, Abraham, Guadalupe Cereceres and brother, Martin Cereceres.
