JOHN CHRISTOPHER JARROTT III, 48, Lordsburg resident passed away Tuesday August 4, 2015 at Providence Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

The prayer vigil will be Monday August 10, 2015 at 10 o'clock in the morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 with Deacon Bill Holguin officiating. Concluding services and inurnment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery.

John was born February 8, 1967 in Silver City to Maria de Jesus Lopez and John C. Jarrott, Jr. Upon graduating from Lordsburg High School, "Tungie" as he was known to everyone, left to Southern California to work as a landscaper, one of his favorite things to do. After a few years of that he came back home and started truck driving, local at first and then coast to coast. After the birth of his princess, "Zoe", he took a job locally so that he could be home every day with his baby girl. "Tungie" was known for a quick joke, his big heart, and a hearty laugh that will be remembered by all whose lives he touched. John was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Jozette Serna Jarrott; a brother, John R. Jarrott; and sister, Donna Marie Jarrott all of Lordsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maria Jarrott.
