Mary Palomarez, 86, resident of Deming passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday morning, October 3, 2015 at 9 oclock at Bacas Funeral Chapel where a prayer vigil will begin at 10 oclock.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 oclock at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Roberto Barreto officiating.

Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

Mary was born January 7, 1929 in Bowie, Arizona to Edward and Petra (Talavera) Altamirano.

She was a homemaker and has been a resident of Deming since 1989 having previously lived in Hachita.

Mary enjoyed sewing and crochet and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was an inspiration to all her family and friends as her faith in God was exemplified in her life.

She is survived by her children, Benny Palomarez Jr. (Elva) of El Paso, TX, Tony Palomarez (Corinna) of Deming, Richard Palomarez of Deming, Eddie Palomarez (Dawn) of Tucson, AZ, Raymond Monchie Palomarez ( Kim) of Tucson, AZ, Carmen Rodriguez (Tony) of Deming, Helen Alvarez of Pico Rivera, CA, Margaret Alvarez of Deming, Nellie Beaty (Mike) of Alamogordo, Jenny Butz (Phillip) of Deming and Petra Palomarez (Peter) of Lordsburg; sister, Jenny Correlejos (Rudy) of Lordsburg, 25 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Benito Palomarez in 1999.

Pallbearers will be Tony, Richard, Eddie and Raymond Palomarez, Tony Ben Rodriguez and John Morales.
