Catalina R. Jaramillo, 92, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born in Gila, NM to Juan and Christina Richarte. She was a homemaker, communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a member of Sacred Heart League. Her favorite pastime was taking care of her indoor and outdoor plants and taking rides to Gila, Santa Rita and Mimbres. Our mom was wonderful with lot of love to give, full of life and caring. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, two daughters, Juanita and Angelita Jaramillo of Silver City; one son, Francisco Richarte of Chandler, AZ; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Francisco Richarte; Seve and Roman Vasquez; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carlos C. Jaramillo ('12); one son, Carlos Jaramillo; two brothers, Refugio and Ricardo Richarte; six sisters, Lucia Maldonado, Felicita Quintana, Elvira Yduarte, Lupe Smith, Francisca Richarte and Amelia Baca.

Viewing will be Wednesday, October 14th from 9-10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 10:15am with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral liturgy will follow at 11:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Tony Basso officiating. Concluding services interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Seve Vasquez, Roman Vasquez, Frankie Richarte, Frankie Richarte Jr., Juan Carlos Richarte and Mariano Estrada. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
