Max M. Flores, 87, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Friday, October 9, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born June 9, 1928 in Silver City, NM to Macedonio and Ramona Menriquez Flores. Mr. Flores proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his loving wife, Millie G. Flores of the family home; seven daughters, Debbie Flores of Tucson, AZ; Sandra Flores of Silver City; Yolanda Escobar (Richard) of Silver City; Belinda Cohn (Frankie) of Tyrone; Cynthia Ortiz of Hurley; Rhonda Torres (Alfonso) of Silver City; Sharon Ortega (Modesto) of Santa Clara; two sons, Ronnie Acosta (Virginia) of Silver City; Max Flores Jr. (Anna) of Silver City; thirty-one grandchildren; sixty-two great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Mickey Grado (Carol) and their seven children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gilbert Flores; five brothers, Cisto, Martin, Jose, Ramon and Juan Flores; two sisters, Paula Romero and Nellie Madrid.

Viewing will be Thursday, October 15 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Fr. Tony Basso reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, October 16 at 10am at St. Francis Newman Center with Fr. Tony Basso officiating. Concluding services interment will follow at St. Vincent Catholic cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vince Torres, Jason Cohn, Eric Ortiz, Andrew Amador, Abel Cuestas, Richard Trujillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Fermin Lopez Jr., Mo Ortega Jr., Bryan Perez, Matthew Peña, James Murillo and Gilbert Flores Jr.
