Esperanza Juarez Perez passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces, NM surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 2, 1927 in Santa Rita, NM to Bardomiano Centeno and Juana Donez Juarez. She married Natividad O. Perez in 1947 and was married until his untimely death in 1963.

After her husband's death, she single-handedly raised her four children, Dolores, Sylvia, Albert and Alfred. She loved spending time with her family, going to the casinos and dancing.

She is survived by two daughters, Dolores P. Jaramillo from Chandler, AZ; Sylvia P. Wilson from Albuquerque, NM; two sons, Albert J. Perez and wife Mary Lou from Las Vegas, NV; Alfred J. Perez and wife Veronica from Las Cruces, NM; one brother, Vicente Juarez and wife Lola from Las Vegas, NV; five sisters, Aurora Chavez from Silver City; Teresa Montoya from Santa Fe Springs, CA; Anita Morales and husband Frank from Rio Rico, AZ; Rachel Valencia and husband Russell from Silver City; Guadalupe "Lupe" Carbajal from Silver City; she is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren. Though she dearly loved her grandchildren, she had a special place in her heart for her granddaughter, Naomi Jacquez and her husband Eric. Visitation will be Saturday, October 17 from 10-11am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11am with her son, Alfred Perez officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
