Betty Jo Wilson, 94, of Santa Clara, passed away Oct. 17, 2015, at Fort Bayard Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held at Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Mesa Cemetery in Gila.

She was a longtime resident of Santa Clara, where she resided for 82 years. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Walker (James) of Pie Town, N.M., Jeanette Norris (Curley) of Cliff, and Betty McIndoe of Rio Rancho, N.M.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Pearl Stevenson; her loving husband of 51 years, James Wilson; son-in-law, Jimmy McIndoe; and two grandsons, Mark and Allan Walker.

Betty Joe was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, reading and crafts. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be James Walker, Curley Norris and Tony Luna.
