Pedro "Pete" Palomarez, 57, also known as "Fitos", a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, NM.

He was born May 27, 1958 in Silver City to Pedro E. Palomarez and Cecilia Gallegos.

He loved spending time with his loving wife dancing and traveling. He also loved to spend time with his children and grandkids. He had a love for the outdoors; by playing golf with his father and brother, playing a game of wachas with his friends and hunting and fishing with friends and family.

He had a big heart and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Magdalena T. Palomarez of the family home; his father, Pedro E. Palomarez of Deming; one son, Pedro "Louie" Palomarez of Bayard; three daughters, Veronica Flores and husband Jesus Gonzales of Santa Fe; Erica Zamora and husband Armando of Bayard; Adriana Escobar and husband Raul of Bayard; four grandchildren, Andrea and Raul Jr. III Escobar and Yesenia and Jesus Jr. Gonzales; one brother, David G. Palomarez and wife Luann of Santa Clara; one sister, Consuelo "Connie" Cook and husband Carl of Silver City.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 28 at 6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
