Helen Sanchez Reyes, 81, Deming resident passed away Friday October 23, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be begin Thursday morning October 29, 2015 at 10 o'clock at St. Ann's Catholic Church with the funeral mass to follow at 11 o'clock with Fr. Manuel Ibarra officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Helen was born October 13, 1934 in Deming to Juanita Delgado and Seferino Sanchez. She had worked as a maid at Butterfield Motel and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Her pastimes were reading, doing puzzles and embroidering; she also enjoyed all sports.

Survivors include 2 sons, Julian Anthony Reyes of Silver City, David S. Reyes and his wife, Carmen of Deming; 2 daughters, Gloria Reyes and Linda R. Montellano both of Deming; 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Jason and Josiah Reyes, Desma Montellano, Rosanna (Adam) Tankersley, Shalom Reyes and 7 great-grandchildren, Tyler Grace, Nyla Faith, Seth, Blake Michael, Claire Marie, Aliyah, Anaiah.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Seferino and Juanita Sanchez, 3 brothers, Trinidad, Alfredo, Carlos and 2 sisters, Paula and Marina.

Pallbearers will be Felix Sanchez, Manny Castro, Alfredo Sanchez, Joshua Reyes, Josiah Reyes and Dennis Dee Lopez.
