Tom Black RSTOM BILL BLACK, 61, longtime resident of Deming passed away Saturday November 21, 2015 at his home to be with his beloved wife and the Lord.

A memorial service will be Tuesday December 1, 2015 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapel with G. G. Gore officiating. Cremation has taken place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Tom Bill was born November 19, 1954 to Wanda and Franklin "Sonny" Leo Black. He was raised in Deming and graduated in 1972. Later he went on to follow in his father's footsteps as a New Mexico Livestock Brand Inspector. He also enjoyed a career as an auctioneer. Tom Bill married the love of his life Liddie, and they had 2 children, Sonny Lee and Jana Black. He retired from the New Mexico Livestock Board and continued to enjoy the outdoors, roping, riding horses, fishing, hunting and reading western books. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with the apple of his eye, his granddaughter Azialee.

Tom Bill is survived by his mother Wanda Black, daughter Jana Black, granddaughter Azialee Black and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Black, his wife Liddie Black, son Sonny Lee Black, sister Shannon Brdecko, and his grandparents Tom and Opal Bartee and Rex and Alma Black.
