Norma Lea Rogers, 84, passed away December 31, 2015, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Norma was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was witty and had a great sense of humor that everyone loved. She will be missed by all.

Her hobbies were painting, gardening, reading, sewing, camping and hanging out with her family. She loved to dance and she and Lester must have danced a million miles over the years.

She is survived by Lester, her loving husband of 65 years; three daughters, Shareen Rogers, Shannon Davila (Robert) and Ivy Sharilin Rogers; five grandchildren, Sean Davila (Cynthia), Jason Davila, Aimee Davila (Gabe), Amanda Blount (Jeremy) and Kristy Rogers (Matt); five great-grandchildren, Alyssa Morales, Gus Morales, Zoe Davila, CJ Evans and Mia Morales; cousins, Sandy Farmer (Dexter) and June Beutel; and long time friends, Liz and Dub Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Effie Chapin and father, Lee Sheppard.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Steve Griffith and Roddy Rogers officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.
