Waldo Murillo RSEstanislado "Waldo" Garcia Murillo Jr. of Silver City, New Mexico passed away on January 10, 2016 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

Waldo was born in Silver City, New Mexico on February 15, 1928 to Estanislado Murillo Sr. and Marianna Garcia Murillo.

Mr. Murillo worked for Kennecott Copper Corp. for 36 years as a Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding around with his friends and spending time with his horse Rosebud. He always assisted other friends at the Gymkhanas in the Mimbres Valley.

Mr. Murillo is survived by his 3 daughters Betty M. Juarez, Mary M. Vasquez and Juanita M. Reyes (Jose). Four sons Sammy Murillo, Tommy Murillo (Pam). Mike Murillo companion (Barbara Claire) and Patrick Murillo. 20 Grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and one sister Rosa Apodaca and very special friend Adolfo Arrellano. Also surviving him is a sister in law Inocenica Murillo and Feliciana Vega and two brothers in law, David Vega (Gloria) and Willie Vega (Elodia).

He was preceded in death by his wife Evangelina V. Murillo, son Antonio Murillo and daughter Barbara Murillo, granddaughter Seann Murillo three brothers Espiredeon, Jose, Frank Murillo, 2 sisters Betty Anthony and Stella Grijalva, and his nephew Rudy Murillo.

A rosary will be recited by Eric Vreeland at Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at 6 pm with visitation beginning at 5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church on Thursday January 14, 2016 at 10:00 am, with father Oliver Obele officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Joe Reyes Jr, Jose Reyes III, Christopher Murillo, Larry Quevedo, Arthur Murillo, Ralph Murillo, Tommy Aguirre and Chuck Anthony. Honorary pallbearers will be Adolfo Arrellano, Gilbert Murillo, David Murillo, Julio Chavez, Robert Juarez, Gina Murillo, Tommy Murillo Jr, Lorraine Vasquez, Mali Murillo, Carlos Madrid, Evongelina Murillo, and rest of his grandchildren, nieces , and nephews.
