JAMES E. BUBB, 93, Deming resident passed away Sunday January 17, 2016 at his home.

James was born October 28, 1922 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Beatrice Reedy and Francis U. Bubb.

He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force serving during World War II and also in the Korean war as well. He was a Deming resident since 1993 coming from Albuquerque. James was a member of the Air Force Association and was the founding President of International Society of Air Breathing Engines with 26 nations involved. James graduated college with a PHD in mechanical engineering. He was an avid skier and jogger; loved to read historical books and reading his Bible.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Bubb of the home; 2 sons, Ernest and wife Ernie Bubb of Ronnie, Virginia, Spencer Bubb of Albuquerque; 3 daughters, Rebecca Zorich of New Jersey, Audra Brodginski, Chandra Cunningham both of Montana; 2 brothers, Bill Bubb and wife Joan of Florida, Jack Bubb of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; sister, Margaret Bubb of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Beatrice Bubb.

Visitation will begin Friday morning, January 22, 2016, at 9:30 in the morning at the First United Methodist Church with the funeral service to follow at 10:30 with Rev Ernie Vineyard officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery in Fort Bayard with veteran honors accorded.
