George Anaya Rico, 67, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Friday, January 22, 2016 at Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces, NM.

He was born June 24, 1948 in Dexter, NM to Ramon G. Rico and Hortencia Anaya. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27 from 6-7pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 7pm with Deacon Jerry Miller reciting.

The funeral liturgy will be celebrated in his honor on Thursday, January 28 at 10am at St. Francis Newman Center with Father Tony Basso officiating. Cremation will follow after service. Inurnment will be Friday, January 29 at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors. A full obit will appear on Tuesday.
