On January 21st 2016 our beloved Mom, grandma, sister and friend left this world and entered into heaven as an Angel to watch over us. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and cared for her.

She is survived by her 6 children: Deborah Susan Nichols, Verna Mae Ivey (Ron), Frances Louise Martin (Ed), Lois Lavon Palumbo (Vito), Mary Helen Franklin (Robert), Louis Lamar Baird Jr. (Julie); grandchildren Avery Louis Farris, Desiree Nicole Farris, Jimmy Earl Nichols Jr., Jennifer Renee Johnston (Zach), Rochelle Candace Cooney (Thomas), Alisha Ivey-Henderson (Tom), Joshua Ivey, John Edward Chicoine III, Dominique Palumbo, Vito Palumbo II (Reyna), John Thor Kline, one sister Eva Joyce Baird (Merlin) and one brother David Burns (Marilee). She is also survived by her extended family of Sunshine Haven of Lordsburg who cared and loved her the last three years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Vada Burns, husband Louis Lamar Baird Sr. and granddaughter Jacquelyn Ann Chicoine.

A Graveside Service will be celebrated in her honor on Saturday, Janurary 30 at 11am at Alma cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ed Martin, Ron Ivey, Vito Palumbo, Vito Palumbo Jr., John Chicoine and Dominque Palumbo.
