Marian Allen RSMarian E. Allen 82 of Silver City, NM passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at Silver City Care Center.

Marian was born in Silver City, NM to her parents Orville "Cap" B. Morgan and Dorothea Hollowell.

In 1973 she married the love of her life, Henry Allen. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and a friend to many.

Marian is survived by two sons, Jack Smith (Alice), Richard Allen (Tracie), two daughters, Kathy White (Gordon), Wanda Grimes (Terry), ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Three sisters, Mary Ward, Margie Ward and Morlene Parnel. One brother, Monte Morgan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Henry Allen, five brothers, Alfred, Howard, Bob, Lyle, George, and one sister, Bernice, a set of twins at birth, one grandson, D.A. (Donald) White, granddaughter, Anna Neibergall.

She loved going fishing, camping and enjoyed playing various games, a favorite she called was the birthday club, attended and supported all the children in sports, served in Little League activities, and bowling with kids. She always had a bet of a quarter with her grandson Sonny during a football game.

She belonged to the order of Easter Star in Hurley, NM.

A Visitation will be held at Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:00am to 11:00am. A Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Michael Head officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Sonny White (Gordon), Dustin White, John Smith, Matthew Smith, Derek Grimes and Gary Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers are Terry Grimes, Skipper Ward, Jeff Bates and Ty Moon.
