Jason Ryan Geren, 29, of Cliff, New Mexico passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016.

Jason graduated from Silver High School. Jason was a veteran of the US Army and served in Iraq and Kosovo. His hobbies were hunting, fishing with his children, camping and watching his favorite football team the "Denver Broncos" games. He was an avid fan.

Jason was a welder, truck driver and mill worker who was employed by Freeport.

He is survived by wife Jamie L Geren, son Hunter L. Geren, daughters Hailey R. and Abbygail R Geren, his mother Ida Baker of Silver City, his father Kerry Geren of Silver City, grandparents Virgie Baker of Salem, and Mike Savage of Silver City, brothers C.W. Rogers (Holly) of Silver City and Joshua Geren (Jessica) of Silver City, sisters Cece Anne Honaker (Kevin) of Yuma, Yvonne Traynor (Robert) of Maiden Rock, and Michell Down(Eric) of Menomonie, father and mother-in-law Floyd and Brenda Clark of Cliff, NM, sister-in-laws Kayla Richins (A.D.) of Silver City, and Niki Grimes (Derek) of Las Cruces, NM, many nieces and nephews whom he adored, many friends and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Rex Baker.

His pallbearers are Joshua Geren, AD Richins, Rafael Acosta, Domenic Thornock, CW Rogers, Derek Grimes Miguel Apodaca and Sean Newton. Honorary pallbearers are Samuel Eady, Floyd Clark, Larry Rice, Denise Atwater, Canuto Molina, Jesse Higgins, Rudy Vasquez, Robert Gavaldon, Rex Nichols and Dale McCauley.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Mesa Cemetery in Gila, NM at 11:00am with David Goble officiating.
