Margaret T. Galaviz, 73, a resident of Santa Clara, NM entered eternal rest Monday, April 18, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born August 19, 1942 in Hanover, NM to Anselmo Telles Sr. and Mercedes Molina.

She is survived by four daughters, Rita Alderette and husband Michael of Silver City; Margaret Villa and husband Jesus from Wendover, NV; Donna Galaviz of Santa Clara; Socorro Berumen of Bayard; fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Viviana, Estrella, Jose, Antonio, Christy, Angelicia, Guillermo, Abel, Naomi, Bianca, Tatem, Geovaughni and Idali; her sister-in-law, Leona Telles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Santiago, Anselmo and Miguel Telles; five sisters, Rufina Telles, Teresa Barraza, Socorro Torres, Maria De La Luz Telles and Lucy Denton.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Belen Montoya reciting. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 27 at 10:30 am at Infant Jesus Catholic Shrine with Father Tony Basso officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jose Galaviz, Michael Alderette III, Joseph Castillo, Daniel Galaviz III, Michael Alderette Jr.,David Denton. Inurnment will be at a later time at Hanover Cemetery. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
