Christopher James Hunte Carreon, 17, a resident of El Paso, TX entered eternal rest Friday, May 6, 2016 in an automobile accident in El Paso, TX.

Chris was born on August 6, 1998 in Fort Bragg, NC to Angel R. Carreon and Wendy A. Carreon.

Chris was a Senior at Chapin High School, a member of the Varsity Baseball Team, and a Life Scout in Troop 345. Chris enjoyed being around his teammates and friends. Chris was always making sure his friends were happy and was always ready to lend an ear when needed.

He is survived by his parents of the family home; one brother, Angel E. Carreon of Silver City; paternal grandmother, Dionisia Carreon of Silver City; four uncles, Mario A. R. Carreon (Cheryl), Ruben Carreon (Betty), Roberto "Beto" Carreon and Kenneth J. Hunte (Michelle); three aunts, Robin Christensen (Roy), Lisa D. Corbin and Heidi L. Hunte; numerous cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin Isaac Carreon; paternal grandfather, Roberto H. Carreon; maternal grandparents, James and Carol F. Hunte.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 14 from 1:30-2pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the Funeral Service to begin at 2pm concelebrated by Father Roberto Barreto and Deacon Bill Holguin. Concluding service interment will follow at Memory Lane cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Xavier Snow, Matthew Lopez, Alex Guevara, Terrance Kinard, Ryan Ramos, Alex Almodovar, Justin Del Castillo, Mike Solis, Nahum Rubio, and Gabe Garza. Honorary pallbearers will be Coach Aguilar, Hernandez, Marsh and Ramos, The Chapin High School Baseball Team and Boy Scout Troop 345.
