Lino Solano rsLino Ozeta Solano, 66, Deming resident passed away Saturday May 21, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Lino was born September 22, 1949 in Gomez Farias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ana Valvina Ozeta and Lino Solano.

He worked as a tractor operator for the farming business; and has worked for Diaz Farms for many years.

Lino was a longtime Deming resident and attended the Catholic Church. He enjoyed being with his family making chicharrones and red chili con carne.

Survivors include his wife Eulalia Juarez-Solano of the home; 3 sons, Adan Solano Perez of Juarez, Mexico, Frankie Zamora-Ortiz of Albuquerque, Lino Solano Ortiz Jr. of Albuquerque; 3 step-sons, Romualdo Marquez and wife Vicky, Luis Carlos Marquez and wife Ivonne, Heriberto Marquez and wife La Tora all of Safford, Arizona; 3 step-daughters, Mabel Marquez of Palomas, Chihuahua Mexico, Selene Marquez and husband Trinidad, Maria Pacheco and husband Armando all of Deming; brother, Angel Solano Ozeta of La Marta, Chihuahua; 3 sisters, Manuela Solano Ozeta of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Jacoba Hernandez Ozeta of Denver, Colorado, Norma Letica Ozeta of Sonora; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon May 26, 2016 at 4 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the prayer vigil there that evening at 7 o'clock. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday May 27, 2016 at 2o'clock at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Fr. Manuel Ibarra officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Romualdo Marquez, Luis Carlos Marquez, Heriberto Marquez, Adan Solano, Eddie Diaz, Mauricio Corral and Lino Solano Jr.
