John Neal Foust, 57, a longtime resident of Lordsburg passed away Sunday June 12, 2016 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

John was born September 12, 1958 in Selmer, Tennessee to Alvie and Lois Foust. He came to Lordsburg with his family in 1967 and was a 1976 graduate of Lordsburg High School. John worked as a power plant operator in Arizona for some time and had been employed in the mining industry over 30 years. Most recently he was a gas plant operator in Carlsbad. John enjoyed fishing and hunting and is remembered as being one of the most avid fans of the Lordsburg Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys.
