Armando DeLaO rsArmando Rene "Mando" De La O passed away on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Mando was born February 13, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to Alfonso and Mary De La O.

Armando will be greatly missed by all that he shared his life with. He was one to open his arms as well as all that he had to anybody in need. Along with his generosity, he cared for his ill mother and helped in the raising of his great nephew, Isaac Cuellar. Mando enjoyed most spending time with his family and friends, watching and attending sporting events, and vacationing.

Mando is survived by five brothers, Ernie De La O (Suzy), David De La O (Shirley), Richard De La O, Pascal Gandara (Ruth), Gustavo Gandara (Pilar) and two sisters, Olivia Chavez (Robert), Sylvia Cuellar, 22 nieces and nephews with 38 great-nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews.

Surrounded by his loved ones, Mando went with the angels to join his parents; Alfonso and Mary De La O, brother Andy De La O, sister Susanna Cisneros-De La O, nephew Richard Cuellar and great nephew Richard Isaac Cuellar.

A visitation will be held at 6 O'clock the evening Monday, June 20, 2016 at Baca's Funeral Chapels followed by the Prayer Vigil and recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 O'clock in the morning on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at St. Francis Newman Center. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Cisneros Jr., Philip Cisneros, Andy De La O, Danny Marquez, Johnny Marquez, Isaac Cuellar, and Cesar Gandar. Honorary pallbearers will be Cysco Cisneros, Little Andrew De La O, Diego Johnny Marquez, Monchi Morales, George Rodriguez, Dean Carrasco, Danny Aguilar, Freddy Marquez, and Ronnie Jacquez.
