D. A. White, 89, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, July 2, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born February 23, 1927 in Farris, OK to Claude White and Buelah Logan.

He proudly served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his loving wife, Syble E. White of the family home; two sons, Randall White of Silver City; Gordon White (Kathy) of Arenas Valley; one daughter, Barbara Laney (John) of Bayard; eleven grandchildren, Brad, Sonny, Tracy, Kimberly, Vernon, Collett, David, Spencer, Barbara Ann, Edward and Aaron; thirty great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, CJ White (Berva) of Caddo, OK; Tommy White (Virginia) of Tulsa, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, D.A. "Donald" White; two brothers, Delbert "Buck" White; Johnny "Non" White; two sisters, Goldie "Sis" Hall; Ann Evans.

Visitaton will be Friday, July 8 from 9-10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the Funeral Service to follow at 10am with Pastor Nils Eng officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors.

Pallbearers will be Brad White, Dustin White, Garrett Laney, Edward, Spencer and Aaron Laney. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim and Roger Barris, Vernon, David and Tracy Laney and Sonny White.
