Cynthia Blancett rsCynthia Anne Blancett, 56, a resident of Hurley, NM entered eternal rest Monday, June 27, 2016 at her residence.

She was born June 26, 1960 in Silver City, NM to Joel Haskell Blancett and Daphne Clifton Blancett.

Before Cynthia's health began to deteriorate she worked, exercised and taught aerobics. She enjoyed riding her bicycle, dancing, hanging out with her dad and friends; going hunting and target shooting and going on family outings.

She was an amateur photographer and developed her own photos.

Cynthia was also an avid reader. She was a 4.0 student in the WNMU Nursing Program until her health caused her to drop out.

Her grandson, Iggy was the brightest ray of sunshine in her life. He loved going to her house for sleepovers, having her cook special treats just for him and staying up late playing video games.

Cynthia also had an open door policy to her children and friends. She was always ready to lend an ear and help with any troubles they shared with her.
