Danny ArtecheJose Daniel "Danny" Arteche Jr, 55, Deming resident passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 peacefully in his sleep.

Danny was born Sept 6, 1960 in Deming NM to Danny and Mary Lou Arteche. He is a 1978 Graduate of Deming High School where he served as an active member of the band.

He furthered his education from Western New Mexico University with an Associates Degree in Spring 2011.

Danny Started his career working with his father at Mi Ranchito Foods, which led him to hold several Service Management Positions including Fitness Management, Food Industry Management, and Sales Management.

His hobbies included Bodybuilding, Weight Lifting, Playing/Listening to music, Wrestling, and he was a Die Hard Dallas Cowboys Fan.

Danny was always very full of energy and always had plenty of hugs to go around. Finding happiness, joy and laughs in life were his passion, he never missed the chance to crack a joke and make you laugh.

His grandson Nyjah was the light of his life, spending time with him made him the happiest person on earth.

He is survived by sons, Daniel Ochoa Arteche and Partner Joseph Trevino of Austin, TX; Brandon and wife Tiffany Arteche of Deming, NM; their mother Mary Helen Ochoa; mother Mary Lou Arteche of Deming, NM; sister Sonia Arteche of Deming, NM; brother Adrian Arteche of Seatlle WA; companion Teresa Hudecek of Deming, NM; 1 Grandchild, Nyjah Adam Arteche; 4 Godchildren, Joseph Ochoa, Gustavo Bo Porras Jr, Brieanna Vantine, and Jan Miller.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Daniel Arteche Sr.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 5 to 6 at Baca's Funeral Chapel where a prayer vigil will begin at 6 o'clock. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10 at the First Assembly of God with Pastor David Iglesias officiating. Cremation will follow.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Ochoa, Gustavo "Bo" Porras Jr., Brian Gutierrez, Chris Gutierrez, Manny Giron, and Manny Flores. Honorary bearers are Brieanna Vantine, Jan Miller, and Ruben Valdespino.
