Anna Maria Ogas, 58, a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at her residence.

She was born March 6, 1958 in Safford, AZ to Ramon V. Ogas and Tomasa Sedillos.

Anna grew up in Safford, AZ. She attended Safford Middle School and High School.

She loved to cook for everyone. She was an excellent tortilla and tamale maker. She was a tender hearted caretaker of the elderly. She loved the Mimbres area (her sanctuary). She had a loving soul and cared for everyone in her path.

She is survived by three grandsons, John Paul Amador Jr., Isaiah Amador and Derrick Amador; three sisters, Lorraine Colvin and husband Henry of Safford, AZ; Margaret Ogas of Safford, AZ; Sarah Ogas also of Safford, AZ; four brothers, Raymond Ogas of Safford, AZ; Robert Ogas of Safford, AZ; Reynaldo Ogas and wife Pat of Safford, AZ; Ruben Ogas of Bayard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John Paul Amador; three brothers, Arturo Chavez, Raul and Richard Ogas.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23 at 3pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Belen Montoya officiating.

Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory.
