Marty Seymore rsLuther Martin (Marty) Seymore, 84 passed away Friday August 5, 2016 in Seagoville, TX.

Marty was a master carpenter all his life, talented car mechanic, and tinkerer/inventor, known for his experiments and projects by many. Marty always had Gǣirons in the fireGǥ. He was a voracious reader and loved and respected by family and friends for his dry sense of humor and ability to lead others. He was lead carpenter for Bill Williams Construction in Silver City, NM for many years and retired from the Kennecott Mines in Santa Rita, NM in 1997. He and his wife Mary relocated to Poteau, OK upon retirement. His wife Mary preceded him in death in 2008.

Marty is survived by his daughter Cynthia Gould and husband Mark of San Diego, CA, his son Clint Seymore and wife Priscilla of Garland, TX, granddaughter Veronica Brown and her partner Amy Juel of Plano, TX, granddaughter Glenice Gould of San Diego, 2 great-grandsons Alex Beck and Cannon Pearson of Denton and Plano TX, great-granddaughter Kayla Beck and great-great grandson Karani Beck (both of Plano, TX). His granddaughter Tina Brown preceded him in death in 2003.

Marty is being cremated, with Williams Funeral Home of Garland, TX in charge of arrangements.
