Stella Freeman, 89 of Silver City, NM passed August 22, 2016 at Ft. Bayard Medical Center in Santa Clara NM.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Hurley, NM to Enrique and Julia (Holguin) Viscaina.

Stella married John Leslie Freeman, Jr. of Gardena, California in October 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Stella is survived by her sister Amelia (Molly) Gonzales and numerous nieces and nephews including her special niece and nephew Rosalie Saiz and her husband Alfred of Silver City and Ray Gonzales and his wife Arlene of El Segundo, California.

Stella is preceded in death by her husband John Leslie Freeman, Jr., her parents and brother Raymond Holguin Viscaina.

Stella will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A private burial of Stella's and her late husband John's cremains will take place at a later date at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.
