Eddie Joe Ybarra, 45, of Silver City passed away at his residence on Monday, August 29, 2016.

Eddie was born on April 15, 1971 to Adolfo Ybarra and Alicia Vasquez in Silver City, NM. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish. Eddie's passion was cars and anything about them as well as his wood working abilities.

Eddie Joe is survived by his father, Adolfo Ybarra; sons, Eddie Joe Jr. and Izik Ybarra; brother, Steve Ybarra; sisters, Dora Rice (Dennis), Stella Bustos Carrillo (Mike), JoAnn Ybarra, Patricia Ybarra, and Norma Ybarra; a special friend, Amy Ortega; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, comprades and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alicia Ybarra.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapels in Silver City, NM. Officiating will be Dr. Gilbert Arizaga. Cremation will follow and is entrusted to Baca's Silver City Crematory.
