Pamela S. Wade, 66, a resident of Deming, passed away Monday September 5, 2016 at Sierra Medical in El Paso Texas.

Pamela was born June 19, 1950 in Gallup, NM to Claudia Jean Coleman and Nolan Carter.

She worked as a Register Nurse at Mimbres Memorial Hospital until her recent retirement.

Pamela had been a Deming resident for 10 years coming from Ruidoso and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she worked in the Mormon Temple.

She enjoyed traveling with the Senior Circle and was very active in taking her daily walks.

She is survived by her son, Oscar Sosa and wife Heather of Deming; a daughter, Claudia Knight and husband Colin of El Paso, Texas; 2 brothers Warren Carter of San Antonio, Texas, Kenneth Carter of Las Cruces; a sister Bob Carter of El Paso and 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Rebekah, Vanessa, Dezmon, Jakob, Gabby, Oscar III and Kiairah.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday morning September 10, 2016 at 10:30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop George Wertz officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
