Ky Michael Speer, 42, passed away Saturday October 8, 2016 in Deming.

Ky was born March 1, 1974 in Deming, New Mexico. He was a 1992 graduate of Deming High School and afterward he worked in the construction industry all over New Mexico. Ky was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved caring for his yard and loved to play chess with friends.

He is survived by his parents, William D. and Nasa Jo Speer of Deming; his daughter, Ayla Speer of Deming; brother, Dane Speer (Amanda) of Deming; sisters, Garilee Ogden (Carlos) of Granville, OH, Shay Charles (Michael) of Casa Grande, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Monday October 24, 2016 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Mt. View Cemetery.
