Dr. Nella "Cindy" McKelvie passed away in her home in Socorro, NM on Friday, October 7, 2016.

She was born December 26, 1944 in Santa Rita, NM, grew up in Hurley, NM and graduated from Cobre High School.

Cindy received her chiropractic degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and had a successful practice in Meridian, MS for over 30 years.

She returned to the Silver City area after Hurricane Katrina and then settled in Socorro, NM.

Cindy enjoyed sharing her love for Jesus, helping others, and dearly loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two brothers, Richard and wife Sherrie Burcham of Silver City; David and wife Sheri Burcham of Meridian, MS; six grandchildren, Christopher Burcham, Chantill Scarborough, Stephen Hudson, Marsha Pace, Ashley Hagan and Robbie Spears.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Doris Burcham, two daughters, Debbie Spears and Georgia Hudson, her son, Steven Burcham, daughter-in-law, Christina Burcham and sister-in-law, Kathy Burcham.

A Memorial Service will be held at Victory Assembly of God Church in Santa Clara, NM on Thursday, October 20 at 6:30pm with Pastor Van Bevel officiating.

Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
