Eddie Fuentes RSEddie Silva Fuentes, 69, of Silver City, NM passed away on November 16, 2015 in Fort Worth, TX of a sudden illness. He was cremated in Ft. Worth, TX and will now be laid to rest in the rich land of Silver City, NM amongst his beloved family.

Eddie Silva Fuentes was born in Silver City, NM to Isidro and Lucinda Fuentes on April 20th, 1946.

He went to school in Silver City, NM.

He married Marie Torres in 1970 in Las Cruces, NM.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a POW. He dutifully served his country in the United States Army.

He was a Union member and worked many years for Magma and Asarco Mining Company.

He was a master craftsman, fisherman, camper and hunter.

Eddie Silva Fuentes was a devoted father and grandfather who brought contagious laughter and an unwavering optimism to his family. He was a positive force in his daughter's, son's-in-law and grandchildren's lives. We will celebrate his life with an assuredness of seeing him one day again. Until then father we will laugh, love, and live with you in our hearts, always and forever.

Eddie Silva Fuentes is survived by his loving, beautiful daughters, Ann-Denise Anderson, her husband Michael Burgess Anderson, Victoria Fuentes De Los Santos, her husband Gregory Alan De Los Santos, and Jennifer Rodriguez, her husband Raul Rodriguez. His grandchildren eldest to youngest, Jonathon Gunnison Anderson, Miranda Right Anderson, Ethan Cain De Los Santos, Kendall Marie Anderson, Hayden Michael Anderson, Lora Irene Rose De Los Santos, Carter Alan De Los Santos, Isabella Sierra Anderson, and Cruz Fuentes Rodriguez. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Eddie Silva Fuentes is preceded in death by his father and mother, Isidro & Lucinda Fuentes and his two sisters, Viola Aragon and Lydia Garcia.

The families of Ann-Denise Anderson, Victoria De Los Santos, & Jennifer Rodriguez wish to extend their sincere thanks to Heartland Hospice in Ft. Worth for their devoted assistance and loving care given to Mr. Eddie Silva Fuentes in his final days of life.

Rosary will be at 9:30am, Saturday, November 12th at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Santa Clara, NM. Memorial Mass will follow at 10am at Santa Clara Church with Father Robert L. Becerra, KHS of Santa Clara Parish, officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
