Michael Dale Mayne, 66, a resident of Mimbres, NM died suddenly on Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence.

He was born September 6, 1950 in Monticello, UT to Steven Lee and Dorothy Mayne. He was the third of five children.

Mike attended school in Monticello and Grants. He graduated from Grants High School in 1968. He went on to attend NMSU in Las Cruces and earned a degree in chemical engineering.

He worked for many years for Dow Chemical but eventually started his own company, IX Services.

Mike loved life and loved his family more than anything.

He is survived by his four siblings; Charles (Judy) Mayne of Murray, UT; Gary (Kathy) Mayne of Bluewater, NM; Jackie (Doug) Bloomfield of Ramaha, NM; Cindy (Wendell) Behunin of Lehi, UT; a foster son, Walter Scott of Albuquerque, NM and his children, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Dorothy Mayne.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the LDS Chapel at 1010 Bondad in Grants, NM. Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory.
