Eddie McDonald rsEddie Joe McDonald 72, of Silver City, New Mexico passed away on November 28, 2016 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Knox City, Texas. He moved to New Mexico where he owned and operated, "American Auto Electric" for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Virginia Lee McDonald, his father Robert McDonald, Brother Keith McDonald, Sister Bobbie Jean Singletary, and his three children: Troy McDonald, Terri Perez, Lea Gonzalez and a legacy of 13 grandchildren: Justine McDonald, Tony Sosa, Cody McDonald, Steven Gonzalez, Jesse Perez, Jessica Perez, Tory McDonald, Tyler Gonzalez, Anthony Perez, Raelynn Botello, Jeffery Macias, David Macias, Mellonie Macias and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae McDonald.

He enjoyed golfing, camping, country music, and drinking coffee with friends. He ran a business and raised children, he was a husband, father, friend and he was our "Pop's".
