Tony Arvizo Arellano, 70, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Providence Sierra Campus Medical Center in El Paso, TX.

He was born January 18, 1946 in Santa Rita, NM to Francisco Arellano and Felipa Arvizo.

Tony loved spending time with his family, caring for his animals, and filling the house with his love of music.

Tony retired as District Director with the USDA (ASCS) after 35 years of distinguished service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Liz H. Arellano; daughter, TJ Romero and husband Anthony of Capitan, NM; grandson, AJ Romero of Capitan; brother, Ben Arellano and wife Carol of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Socorro Arellano of Silver City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Johnny and Martin Arellano and sister, Frances Garcia.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated in his honor on Saturday, December 10 at 3pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Celebrant Deacon Bill Holguin.

The family wanted to share these words to all the family and friends "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, and held so dear".

Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
