Arnold Ortiz Ortiz, 64 of Santa Clara passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels of Silver City. A private family service will held at a later date.

Arnold was born August 3, 1952 in Santa Rita, NM to Lucy and Ramon Ortiz. He loved to spend time with his family and was well known for his drawing and painting. Arnold enjoyed football and watching his favorite San Diego Chargers. He will be missed as well as his favorite Saying, "We love you baby!"

Arnold is survived by his mother Lucy Ortiz; brother Ramon Ortiz Jr. (Kathy); brother-in-law, Gene Alcorta; nephews, Gene Alcorta Jr., Jacob (Selena) Alcorta, Aron Ortiz (Brittany Hoffman); nieces, Berna Palmer (Randy), Karrie Ortiz (Ruben Graham) and Corina Lee Ortiz (James Money); great nephews, Daniel Chavez, Erik Alcorta, Mark Steyskal, Jake Alcorta, Tod Seven Ortiz, Gabriel Alcorta, Aries Ortiz, Jacob Money; great nieces, Nicole Lopez (Jesus Jr.), Brenda Ramirez (Frankie IV), Sarah Silva, Katy Money; great-great nephew Jesus Lopez III; great-great nieces; Ambrosia Lopez, Beatrice Lopez and Ynez Ramirez. Arnold was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Lopez Ortiz, sister, Beatrice Ortiz Alcorta, nephew, Chance Ortiz and niece Francine Alcorta.
