Margaret D. Brindley L. Moorehead, 89 of Hurley New Mexico passed from this life on this Valentine's Day Tuesday February 14, 2017 at her residence. She will Lie-In-State on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 9:30 am following a Funeral Service at 10:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Silver City, New Mexico. Interment will follow at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery.

Margaret known as Margie to her family and friends was born into the Joseph "Los" and Eula Phillips family. This was a happy and loving family and consisted of five children Mayble, George, Margie, Paula and Barbara.

Margie was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She embraced her religion whole heartedly and strived to live a Christ centered life exhibiting kindness to all of those she met.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; Los and Eula Phillips, Sister Mayble Bodine, Brother George Phillips, infant Daughter and her husbands, Buddy Dawson, Ray Brindley and Jack Moorehead.

Margie is survived by her son Lonnie L Dawson, four grandsons, Travis Dawson, Wade Dawson, Dushane Dawson, and Gregg Dawson. Her two sisters Paula Earvin and Barbara Stailey, two Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandson, many nephews, nieces and many friends. She will be missed by all.
