Susie B. Lankford, 84, a resident of Tyrone, NM entered eternal rest Monday, February 13, 2017 at Silver City Care Center.

She was born September 14, 1932 in Buckhorn, NM to Lewis Brown and Eda Uptain Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Howard Lankford and wife Terri of Colorado Spring, CO; Lawrence H. Lankford and wife Peggy of Silver City; two daughters, Beverly Mauzy and husband Charles of Pinetop, AZ; Barbara Stauder and husband Jim of Tyrone, NM; ten grandchildren, Kirk, Ryan, Shawnda, Belinda, Joseph, Kimberly, Jimmy, Paul, Jessie, and Heather; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Brown and wife Nell of Cliff, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Lawrence H. Lankford, and her brother, Robert Brown.

A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 22 at 10 a.m. at Gila-Mesa Cemetery with Pastor Floyd Robertson officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
