Carol M. Smith, 74, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her residence.

She was born November 11, 1942 in Pico Rivera, CA to Ed Cryer and Marian Vandervort Cryer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21 from 5 - 6 pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6 pm with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 22 at 10 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Jarek officiating.

A full obit will appear on Monday's paper. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
