Margaret Lenore Burton, born Margaret Lenore Little passed away Sunday, the 19th of March, 2017. She was born to Gene and Cosma Little on the 6th of September, 1944 in Silver City, New Mexico.

Margaret known by many simply as Nana, has loved and been loved by many people near and far. To walk through her front door was to be loved and accepted just as any member of her family. Whether a distant relative, long lost friend, or a stray dog, she considered you a friend, "another flower in her garden," as she would say.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Troy Eugene Burton, her brother Mike Little and wife Carol, her brother Butch Little, her children Steve Burton and wife Ella, James Burton, Laurie Wood and husband Duane, and Tina Cornett, along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and too many dear friends to name. Margaret also had 8 grandchildren, Lauren Cornett and wife Jillian, Logan Cornett and wife April, Shelby Cornett, Cora and Bonner Wood, Dustin and Devin Zamora, and Cruz Burton.

She is the great grandmother of a sweet little girl expected to arrive April of this year. Margaret will be reunited in heaven with her beloved son Beau Burton, younger brother Eddie Little, and big sister Patricia Harper.

Services are to be held Friday the 24th of March, 2017 at Mountain View Cemetery at 10:30 am, officiated by Luanne Burd. All who wish to join are welcome to come and remember Margaret.
