Diana Arrington rsDiana Jean Arrington, 75, of Silver City passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Diana was born on October 8, 1941 in Deming to Olin and Ruth Offutt.

Diana grew up on the farm in Deming where she learned to work hard and grew into a unique, talented and powerful woman.

She loved babies and was assigned to watch after every sibling and cousin. Diana's parents farmed in Deming over 60 years and her grandparents, Doyle and Muriel Offutt were two of the original homesteaders in Deming.

Her accomplishments were many. She won best of show for her flowers year after year and later went on to become a flower judge. Diana ran service stations and the well drilling business with her beloved husband, Don Arrington of 58 years. She also helped Don and her father run the Deming Flea Market for over 20 years.

Diana was very knowledgeable in antiques and vintage items, and Diana and Don also designed and built their beautiful home in Silver City. She was known to fiercely defend her husband, three children, five grandchildren and other family and friends.

Diana had so much love and care for everyone she met. Thank you Jesus for blessing us all with the best wife, mom and friend we could ever have. There will never be another one like her and we will love and miss her until we see her again.

Diana is survived by her husband, Don E. Arrington; sons, Randy (Tammy) and Brian (Bonnie) Arrington; Grandchildren, Krystal and Casey Dupree, Steve (Kanesha) and Robert (Nakala) and Jeffrey Arrington; great-grandson, Nyle Lincoln Dupree; brother, Teddy (Jan) Offutt; sisters, Joan Little (Charlie) and Nita Stinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin J. and Ruth Offutt; daughter, Donna Jean Arrington and Baby Arrington.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 1 - 2 p.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapels in Deming. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapels with concluding services and burial immediately following at Mt. View Cemetery. Officiating is Pastor Bruce Tanner.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Sean Brown, Devon Stinson, Jeffrey Arrington, Koen Hunter, Randy Arrington and Robert Arrington.
