Arturo F. Gutierrez Jr., 45, a lifelong Deming resident passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Sierra Health Care Center in Truth or Consequences.

Arturo was born October 10, 1971 to Petra Flores and Arturo Gutierrez in Deming. He was a people person who loved life, family and a very giving person. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by parents, Arturo Gutierrez and Patsy Flores of Deming; sister, Anna Gutierrez of Angleton, Texas; numerous cousins, friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10 o'clock at the New Life Apostolic Church where funeral services will follow at 11. Pastor Fernando Carreon will officiate. Cremation will follow at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Baca, Gary Baca, Regino F. Ordonez, John Andrew Ordonez, Pablo Escarcega Jr. and Frankie Porter
