Betty Carter rsBetty Carter, 86, of Pinos Altos passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 in Silver City.

Betty Carter was born on January 30, 1931 in Bonham, Texas and fell asleep in death on April 28, 2017 at Silver City Care Center. Betty had been a Silver City resident for the last nine years coming from Koppell, Texas. She loved her poodle and little companion, Rose. Betty loved coffee and always had a pot ready for any visitors that came by. She spent time learning about the Bible promise of a paradise earth under God's Kingdom, Matthew 6:9-10; Psalms 37:11-29 and looked forward to the resurrection of her husband and mother onto that paradise earth. Now her daughter and large spiritual family are comforted knowing she is peacefully asleep and safe in Jehovah God's memory and look forward to seeing her resurrected onto that paradise earth where God promises that there will be no more death, old age, sickness or infirmities. Revelation 21:3-4 and Isaiah 35:5-6.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Mary Westbrook of Pinos Altos; son, Greg Carter (Cindy) ofWyllie, Texas; and one grandson, Nicolas Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavern Carter.

Cremation has taken place and been entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels in Silver City. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 12:30 in the afternoon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Pinos Altos Road and Pine Street.
